Towns and Volcanoes Circuit

In Likan Antai culture, volcanoes in the San Pedro valley were gods that protected their inhabitants and the land extended among their slopes. Thus, many towns were arisen in front of them, thanking Licancabur, Láscar, and many others, for the crops, the health and the weather, among other things.

In this tour you get to know the places protected by the volcanoes of the desert and their communities, which were literally built with what the Atacama earth has given them. Talabre, Socaire, Toconao and San Pedro are towns that from the beginning have been in harmony with nature, with the volcanoes always in the horizon looking after their inhabitants.
